Manufacturing for Radiohead 😎🎸

Broes Seasonings - Now manufacturing a product for Radiohead!
Incredibly chuffed to bits is an understatement! My new client, the genius Mr Jonny Greenwood, lead guitarist of Radiohead! So pleased to announce that we are making a spice condiment for them called “Dukkah”, it is an Egyptian spiced condiment.

A few years ago, Jonny bought an olive grove in Le Marche, Italy where they started making olive oil, the website page piqued my interest (as I’m an olive oil lover and Radiohead fan) and whilst looking at the site, I decided to send a couple of my recipes to them, showcasing olives as the main ingredient.

Then one day out of the blue, they asked me if I could help them make some dukkah, to add to their website named “Shufra di Shufra” website link below. The planning took place over the past couple of months and it is now live on the site! The recipe hails from Jonny’s wife Sharona, who kept the recipe from her Egyptian grandmother. It is definitely a taste bomb to remember, with bold flavours of toasted coriander, cumin and sesame seeds, followed by walnuts and a slight citrusy tone of sumac.

The dukkah is usually served as an accompaniment to items like hummus or tahini with some pita bread and “proper” olive oil. It’s still sinking in and is still a bit surreal really, that I am making a product for one of the members of my favourite band! 👨🍳🤘

It’s funny how some things work out in life, as for around twenty years in Vegas I was always keeping my eye out for a Radiohead gig coming up, yet they never came, only to LA once🥲. So, 2025 ends in spectacular fashion-saw Radiohead in concert for the first time at the 02 with a VIP pass😎 and am now making a product for one of them!
